Cowbane — Oxypolis rigidor — (August 12, 2008) The mature blooms resemble chrysanthemum fireworks. This plant prefers damp surroundings and is found along the creek beds in the park. As the name implies, the leaves and roots are poisonous to cattle and can cause contact dermatitis if roughly handled. |
